Wild Wisdom: The Animal’s Almanac

I love doing this…perusing Google Images for the sweet and funny. My advice to all…if you can’t sleep or just need an old-fashioned pick-me-up, go there and hit funny animals and see what happens.

Suddenly your face will ache from smiling and whatever might be ailing you will soon take flight.

About Susannah Bianchi

I'm just a girl who likes to write slightly on slant. I've had a career in fashion, dabbled in film and to be honest, I don't like talking about myself. Now my posts are another matter so I will let them speak for themselves. My eBooks, A New York Diary, Model Behavior: Friends For Life and Notes From A Working Cat can be found on Amazon.com. Thanks.

  1. I agree: these sorts of pictures are good for what ails you. However, I do fear that the Internet will have a purifying effect until the sheer amount of cuteness becomes toxic and people overdose on it. Cute animal sites may have to have a warning on them soon. Some of these are pretty amazingly adorable, is all I’m saying. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • You’re right about there being so many. You really get to pick and choose. I love the little cat buccaneer. He really made me laugh. Omigod Dave. I was here in the middle of another sleepless night laughing myself silly.

Anyway…thanks for commenting. Always a pleasure.

      • Yeah, that little guy is too much. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • He looks like someone I know. A very short back teller who, well I don’t know for sure, but rumor has it he sits on Staten Island, as in their yellow Pages. We still have them though I’m probably, for old times sake, the only one who still lugs up the stairs. Funny how one thing morphs into another Dave, isn’t it?

      • Oh, I love me some tangents. We don’t have phone books over here in Korea (come to think of it, I’ve never even seen one here) but someone ought to collect all the unused phone books in America and build discount housing/furniture for people. All it takes is someone with a dream and a lot of glue/fireproof paint.

      • Why did I not know you wee in Korea? Wow…that just stopped me in my tracks. You are halfway across the world from me. You’ll never know how staggering I find that. How the internet can link us wherever we happen to me. I also saw my favorite MASH episodes including the film, which I love. Tom Skerrit…I wanted to marry him in the worst way.

Like the furniture idea…it’s so Museum of Modern Art ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m home with a sore throat and cold today. So thank you, Susannah, for bringing a BIG smile to my face. My favorite is the first photo. I can’t see a kitty’s round fluffy tummy without wanting to rub it. Unfortunately, 99.9 out of a 100 cats will turn my hand into hamburger if I rub their tummys. But it’s worth it when I find that rare tolerant cat.

    • So that must be what you look like Skinny home in bed, just not with as much fur. She is cute, I know. Look at her legs, like yours, long and shapely. Hope you feel better. Rest, read…write a little, and call me in the morning ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s a lot of “awww! for a Monday! Love the captions too. Some of those are definitely New York cats!

  5. I love this! Especially last call… I am a sucker for puppies… Great post today, thanks for the smile. Hope you are well.

Like you I sometimes just wander around Google images. Always something to make me smile! Just like you did.

    • You post the best animal pictures…I ran into your pedantic puss…the one who reads in the Ralph Lauren glasses…and thought of you and Teddy right away. I can’t speak for you, but if you could hear me giggle as I’m perusing those pages, you’d think I had misplaced my cookies. It’s 2 in the morning and my sides are splitting…

  7. I do this ALL the time….hahaha! Looking at animals can always turn even the worse days around.
