Would You Please Just Shut Up!

It’s 5:05 a.m.  My hair isn’t even awake yet, let alone my ears (what’s left of them), while there’s a man talking over me as if I were a badminton net.

He’s trouncing Hillary to no end trying to influence the other three people, along with the bitchy barista (who just popped in her ears bud) to vote for Trump.

Despite that I want to stuff his mouth with my socks, I write down his barrage of names for our next Pres. Yeah, call me crazy, but I think she’ll win even if it’s feet first.

Harridan, harlot, hellion and spy (loved the alliteration up front).

Liar, thief, lesbian, he then changes to lesbo, my personal favorite.

This man, clad in a very nice gray, pinstriped suit, had more venom spurting from his lips than Cleopatra’s asp.

I watch in fascination.

After listening whether I want to or not, my heart opens for Mrs. Clinton who hopefully can still watch her back while watching the country’s, because even if she wasn’t your choice, we must stand behind her.

A friend emailed, she’s voting for Trump because she’s convinced Hillary’s going to jail. Being a maven at Monopoly packing a...get out of jail free card...I beg to differ.

Will Congress torture her?  Yes.

Will she fold under pressure?  No, unless, God forbid, her heart gives out.

As hard as it is to believe, people weren’t all that crazy for Abraham Lincoln, or Teddy, for that matter.

I don’t think they’ll be adding Hill to Mount Rushmore anytime soon, but one never knows.  In the meantime…

Would you please just shut up!

                              Don’t forget to vote!!!

I guess we are all having the same experiences on both sides of the aisle this election . Last Saturday afternoon while quietly enjoying lunch in a local haunt a neighborhood guy I know sauntered over to my table asking who I was voting for . When I told him he went into spasms and began roaring , I remained calm , the calmer I remained the more unhinged he became .” Look Bobby ” I said “first of all , I came here for lunch , I’ll speak with you , we may not agree , but why are you shouting ? ” secondly why are you insulting me ? ” (He’d become verbally abusive ) I extending my hand I said I’ve always enjoyed your company let’s leave this alone ok ? ” he stormed off leaving my hand dangling . I may feel as strongly in my position as the next guy but I do as I know you do ,try my best ( not always successfully ) to leave people better than I find them . All I can do is vote tomorrow , and hope for the best . I just wish I could fall back to sleep ! Lol

    • This is America, at least it was last time I checked, and that means we have choice, a privilege many countries don’t have, and tell Bobby, one, he should invest in a straight jacket, and two, we can agree to disagree. Let the not so best man/woman win. 🙂

Susannah, I don’t mind a teensy bit of political wrangling, but I abhor a big mouth trying to brainwash me. And it’s just a annoying when the blowhard is blowing for my own candidate. Tis the season for earmuffs, to be immediately clamped on the ears as soon as the trumpeting begins.
    Just one more day.

    • I’ve never heard such hatred toward anyone before. People loathe her Skinny to the point of idiocy. I forgive all her alleged larceny. I do. She’s smart and I don’t feel she’ll make the same mistakes again. Just what I think.

I’m not a big Hillary fan, but I don’t give a crap about her emails.

      • Me either. I just read a book abut Bill called, Man of the World, and it said, Colin Powell was the one who suggested she use a personal email. That was the first I heard of that. Like I said, it’s going to be better for her in the long run Skinny. All that stress. Now she can relax and enjoy her grandchildren. There’s always light.

Free speech comes both at a price and with responsibility. I guess Hillary has broad shoulders: if she hasn’t, she’s in the wrong business, but she shouldn’t have to put up with that nonsense. Maybe she could sue for slander and deformation of character, but then again, maybe not: there aren’t that many courtrooms in the world.

I don’t get the hatred that has been shown so often. Can only hope when it is over and done people will realize everyone has to work together to get anything done and for there to be any peace in the world.
