Best Story of the Week…October 11th

I’m walking through the Park, east to west. There’s a sexy, young fellow shirtless, sitting on a bench in the Indian summer sun, stroking a long-haired German Shepherd.

I smile and say, “Wow, that’s what I call handsome.”

The man, his chest gleaming with 18 coats of suntan oil, smiles back. “Why thank you,” he says, “nothing like a tan, is there?”

“I meant the dog,” I say, giggling.

To his credit, he giggled too.

Nothing like a guy (and a dog) with a sense of humor.

Woof!  🙂 Unknown

So funny! At least he didn’t get embarrassed and all flustered.
Why does today have to be the last warm day? Why do we keep putting ourselves through these cold and lengthy winters? A couple of weeks escape to warmer climates just isn’t enough.

Very funny… German Shepherds are very athletic dogs and their intelligence makes them unique. You can train them to do anything and their ability to stop at command makes them one of the easiest breeds to train. Their wolf like muzzle helps to track offenders in the police force or sniff out drugs or any contraband products. Even as a pet you can train them to be the perfect guard dog.

    • Didn’t know any of that. You don’t see many, and I hate when they’re referred to as…Hitler Dogs. I think they’re beautiful and knew one as a kid called Prince, and he was one, to the fullest. 🙂
